The study of Astrology is based on the changing positions of heavenly bodies in relation to Earth.

Perhaps it should be modified to be based on the changing position of Earth passing through different sections of the force field.

Under this hypothesis planetary orbits are part of an elliptical eddy rotating around the Sun which is moving downstream as part of the expansion drive of the main river.

If the field is the repository of the Universe's energy, which may include even good and evil, personality characteristics, codes for re-incarnation, and God knows what else, astrological predictions take on an increased scientific foundation. See Energy, Biological Energy and The Paranormal.
