The 1964 experiment measured the forward speed of light from an exploding particle of matter moving just below the speed of light.

The experiment proved that the speed of matter has no effect on the speed of light emanating from it.

This supports the Moon Laser Experiment (hypothetical) and the Laser Drag Experiment.
