Part 4. The New Astronomy

The science of Astronomy is based on a fundamental belief that light as well as the entire electromagnetic spectrum operate as particles moving in straight lines or waves that travel unencumbered through the void.

The Natural Theory of Relativity suggests that they are not unencumbered. Rather that they pass on the wings of intersecting gravitational fields, moving to and fro with the fields as the fields move.

Ergo, the light from Alpha Centauri reaching us now would position the star exactly where it is now a year later as it’s light path was shifted first by Alpha’s field, then by the intersecting fields of Alpha and our Sun, then only our Suns’ field as the journey was made.

Shifted by two tandem fields orbiting the Milky Way by the exact amount of each field’s velocity the star is simply where we see it.

Apply this illustration to the structure of any galaxy we see through a visible, x-ray or radio telescope, and we can then surmise a somewhat different shape if we know which are the closest stars, which are the farthest, which are in the middle in relationship to Earth.

Apply it to the entire firmament and years of work will have to be modified.

Apply it to the 1919 and 1922 solar eclipse experiments that verified Einstein’s theories and you have two more plausible conclusions: 1. Starlight was shifted, not curved and; 2. Starlight was shifted and curved explaining Einstein’s minor discrepancy of arc change.

As discussed in Part 2, in fact, a gravitational field is the conduit for the entire electromagnetic spectrum, we can surmise, as they are the offspring of matter, that they seek a gravitational field to become whole, having lost it in their metamorphoses from matter to energy. Much like electricity unable to flow without a metal wire to flow through, light will not flow without a gravitational field to flow through.

Apply this to a black hole and you have the opposite theory of current thought. Zones of absolute zero gravity where light cannot move.

Support for this theory of a new astronomy comes from the Michelson/Morley experiment detailed in Part 2, and may be supported by the outcome of the proposed experiment detailed in Part 3. Until that experiment is conducted and the results published there are two one more supporting experiments one which was conducted in 1859 by H. Fizeau known as the water drag experiment.

Measuring two light beams passing through moving distilled water, H. Fizeau found that the light beam traveling through water rushing against it moved ever so slightly slower than the light beam passing through water moving in the same or dragged direction.

His conclusion was that the light was pushed or dragged back by the force of the water flowing against it.

It was Fizeau’s experiment that inspired Michelson and Morley to conduct their failed water drift experiment.

Now consider another conclusion to Fizeau’s experiment, that light, was not pushed back by the on rushing water, but rather was affected by the increased number of water molecules traversed against the flow, making it essentially a denser medium.

We know that the denser a transparent medium is the slower light will travel through it. Space, the least dense is the fastest medium for light , diamond the most dense the slowest, with air, water, glass, etc. in between.

One can then surmise that the denser a transparent medium the less space available for the gravitational field occupying it, and that in some unknown way the field is compressed, creating a conduit bottleneck not only slowing light down but barring some of it from entering and later escaping.

If, in fact, in the Fizeau experiment, the denser water medium slowed the light more than the less dense water medium, it supports the theory that light travels not through space or air or water or glass or diamonds at all but rather only through the gravitational field(s) that permeates such mediums.

Another supporting experiment was conducted more recently in 1964 by a scientist names Alvager. He measured the speed of light from light given off from particles disintegrating while they were traveling at 185,000 miles per second.

The light dispelled forward of the motion of the particle moved only at 186,400 miles per second. There was no velocity boost prior to destruction. The particle is called a neutral pion.

We know Einstein's explanation. consider now another, the argument for a gravitational field conduit. This explanation requires no paradox as light only moves through the gravitational fields the permeate the vacuum called space, and not through space itself and it moves at it's normal speed of 186,400 miles per second (at least in our space/time) though the field itself is also moving.

Therefore, the velocity of matter at any speed has no effect on the speed of light.

Finally let us look at another form of energy: electricity. Like the electromagnetic spectrum it also metamorphoses from matter and it cannot move unless a metal wire is present to move through. A coincidence that this form of energy requires a conduit. Not likely

Everything seems to fit to support this gravitational conduit theory:

  1. The 1859 water drag experiment.
  2. The 1887 aether drift experiment and the various repeats through 1927.
  3. The 1919 and 1922 solar eclipse observations.
  4. The 1964 neutral pion experiment.
  5. The way electricity passes from point A to point B

The one thing missing is undeniable proof and that the purpose of the laser experiment detailed in Part 3, and should the outcome verify this theory it will mark the dawn of a new Astronomy and the beginning of our efforts towards inter-stellar travel.
